Taken above Frisco, Colorado, on an unexpected fall day, I had set out to check out the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad, and the fall colors pulled me towards Frisco were I walked up the old trail to Rainbow Lake – a trail that I hadn’t found since childhood about 40 years ago.
